Changing Delivery Dates for Schedules on Manifest

Changing delivery dates for Schedules that are already on manifest and yet to be delivered is not possible through the Scheduler application as delivery drivers may have already been notified and other schedules on the manifest may be adversely affected.

If the schedule is not to be removed from the manifest, the delivery date must be changed through the Manifest Application.

When requesting a delivery date change for such a schedule through scheduler the following warning will be displayed in the requests screen.

 

A request may be raised to change the delivery date but cannot be approved until the Schedule is removed from manifest.

The authoriser will see the request by the action will be marked as blocked meaning that the Delivery date cannot be changed from Scheduler. The request may still be declined or ignored by the Authoriser as per normal.

If the delivery date is changed in Manifestor to the required date by a dispatch officer, any requests for schedules on the manifest that are for the new date will be automatically marked as approved and closed.

 

If the schedule is removed from the manifest by a dispatch officer, the request may be authorised in scheduler by any authoriser for the request.

The request screen will display that the schedule is no longer blocked and may be approved declined as per normal:
