Close a handle

Before you begin

• You have a handle selected. See Find handle or DLL
  

Steps to take

1. Right-click on the file handle and select Close Handle
   
2. Process Explorer will warn forcing a handle closed can lead to an application crash and system instability
   In practice I am yet to see an app crash system instability but it would surely be possible, particularly if you ripped a file handle away from a system process.
   
3. If you are sure, Click Yes
4. The handle is closed
