View Heat Usage for a Heat Tag

Background

This Knowledge Base Article provides information needed to review the heat usage for an individual heat tag or a heat number in general in the Scanner Analysis System.

Before You Begin

Steps to Follow

  • In the Machine summary grid, select the device and the date range for material that you wish to examine:




  • Select the row header for the item that you wish to view, then use the right mouse button to bring up a sub menu with the view Heat Usage option:

    You may select either:

    An individual Heat Record that has been loaded. The result will display the heat used for that heat tag.





  • A Heat attached to a bar item. The result will display all tags assigned to this heat across all heat tags 





    Note how in this instance, the grid displays multiple heat tags and weights, but all using the same heat number.

    In either case, this grid contains the following detail:

  • Column Details
    Heat Number

    The suppliers heat number for the heat lot

    Master Heat

    The Tag Identifier for the suppliers heat code. Thi smay cover more than one tag with a postfix of the tag number e.g. 01,02,03...

    Heat Tag

    The Tag Identifier for a particular instance of the master heat tag

    Heat Product

    The product attached to this Heat Instance e.g. N20/12, N12/Coil etc.

    Bundles

    How many bundles of product attached to this heat instance. This will be usually be one, but may be more for different suppliers.

    Weight

    The weight of the total number of bundles (in tonnes) for this Heat Instance

    Schedule Tag

    The barcode of the Bar Item that has been assigned to this heat

    Schedule

    The Schedule that this item belongs to

    Product

    The Bar Items product, usually a shortened version of the Heat Product

    Date Assigned

    The date this heat assignment was made

    Tag Weight

    The weight of the bar tag (in tonnes). This column displays a total weight displayed in the grid footer.

    Scanner

    The scanner that made the heat assignment


    The grid can be sorted by clicking the required column header within the grid.

  • To close the view, click the close button at the bottom right or the close form X button at the top right of the form.
