How to Set up a Tag Printer for New Scanners

This knowledge base article will guide you on how to set up a Tag printer for new scanners.

Before You Begin

  • Plug the Tag Printer into the scanner via the USB 3.0 port (the blue port on the Scanner).
  • Ensure that you have installed the Tag Printer in the scanner.

Steps to Follow

  • Printer Settings 

    1. Go to the Wizard on the printer screen and check that the settings below are enabled.





       
    2. Go to Home > Main > Printer Settings and check that the settings below are set up.



    3. Go to Home > Main > Label Settings and check that the settings below are set up.


       
    4. Adjust the paper detection sensor on the printer to accurately detect the paper endpoint. Once you adjust it, use the button next to the power socket of the printer to auto-calibrate the paper length.


       
       
  • Computer Printer Settings

    1. Go to Printer Properties > Advanced > Printing Default and set up below settings.
      NOTE: Make sure to edit the USER setting with dimensions. Adding new dimensions won't work.


       
    2. Update the same settings in Printing Preferences and make that printer the Default Printer.
