Modifying System Parameter Settings

Overview

Elda will respond differently depending on settings maintained in the Settings List in the Parameters Application.

Before you begin

Modifying Company settings is a very protected permission and is usually only granted to System administrators. If you do not have access to the Parameters Application you must request access through Bitberry Support.

Modifiying Company Settings

Open the Parameters application and select  the "System Lists" tab:

Select Settings from the Drop Down List:

Enter the  Settings Key that you wish to add to the system. Keys are not case sensitive but need to be spelt the exact way that they are used:

This key (CheckScheduleBarConditions) is used to determine if Shape Conditions will be checked as bar items are added in Scheduler and before schedules can be sent to factory. Key names and values should be obtained from Bitberry support as random settings may have no affect on the system at all.

Setting the Key value to 0 will disable the setting, setting it to one will enable the setting.

If the setting is not present at all the default of 0 will be assumed.

The value is a variant type and can  be a numeric, string or boolean value.

Boolean values of non zero (positive or negative) are evaluated as true.

Settings are saved as soon as the grid value is updated (Pencil icon disappears from row header))
