Overview
Occasionally there is an issue with Tag Printing while using cut optimiser. The most common causes for this is a result of the Tag printer running out of paper mid print and the print job being cancelled prior to printing all tags or the operator inadvertently cancelling the print job mid way between printing.
In this case it is possible to reprint just the tags for a specific cut sheet following the directions below.
Requirements
You will need:
- Access to the Cut Optimiser application
- Permission to be able to reprint tags
Method 1
In the cut optimiser application:
- Select View|Previous Cut Sheets from the top menu bar:
- Locate the cut sheet for which tags are to be reprinted. (Most columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the row headers indicated)
- Select the all Schedule lines for the required cut sheet by selecting the first line, holding down the shift key, and selecting the last line of the cut sheet.
- Right click the selection and choose "Tag Summary" from the option menu:
This screen details the status of all tags for the schedules in the cut sheet. - Sort the tags by Cut Sheet then reselect the tags that belong to that cut sheet:
- Right click the selected tags and select "Print Selected Tags"
- If the tags have not been printed they will print directly.
If the tags have already been printed, a window will appear requesting a reason for the reprint
Enter a reason and click "Re-print Tags" to reprint the tags.
If the Form does not have the Reprint reason and Re-Print tag button, you do not have permission to reprint tags.
