Creating Internal Scheduling Notes

Background

Internal scheduling notes allow each customer to have their own specific set of rules that need to be applied to schedules outside of the requirements of what the plans suggest.

It can also be a place where you can update the notes for varying things like freight costs.

Before you begin

  • Ensure you have access to Scheduler.  If you don't see Scheduler in your available Elda (Chrome) shortcuts, you may need to request access to it.
  • Please see our article on how to Request access to an Elda Application.

Steps to follow

  1. Open your scheduler application and navigate to the customer whose Internal scheduling notes are being updated. See our article Finding a Customer.
  2. Highlight the job by double clicking on the black arrow in the far left hand column.

  1. Select Job from the Left hand main menu and then job details.

  1. The job details pop up window will appear and from the tabs across the top select the notes tab.

  1. Here you will find at the top the job notes which are generated by the comments section on each schedule and the bottom half shows the Internal Scheduling note.

  1. Complete any job/customer specific notes here and click save.

  1. The front page "schedule details" will now reflect any changes.
