Change a delivery date

Background

The delivery date change surcharge system allows a surcharge to be added to a delivery when the delivery date is changed after the customer has already been notified.

This is one aspect of the delivery date change surcharge system.

Before you begin

• The delivery date change surcharge system is enabled
• Permission M1003 - Can Decide On Delivery Date Change Surcharge.
• Ensure you are logged into the Elda (Chrome) Manifests application. Please see our article Request Access to an Elda Application for more.

Steps to take

1. Select one or more manifests for which wish to change the delivery date.

    

2. Right click the selected manifests and select Change Delivery Date.

   
    

3. Select a new delivery date and provide reason for delivery date change

   
    

4. If the delivery surcharge system is enabled and you have the correct permissions the Delivery Date Change Surcharge window will open.

   
    

5. In the add surcharge column select the schedules that will attract the additional fee. Note only a single charge will be added per delivery date change, a long as the schedules remain on the same manifest. 
   Ultimately only a single delivery surcharge is calculated per delivery date change. If a schedule that has been selected is moved to a different manifest, it to will also attract a surcharge. 

   
    

6. Click OK

    

7. A new window will open alerting that the delivery date has been changed for the selected manifests.
