How to do Cold/Blind Transfer Calls on Teams

Background

This knowledge-based article provides steps in making cold/blind transfers for voice calls and video calls on Microsoft Teams.

Before You Begin

• Ensure you are logged in to an Office 365 account (https://www.office.com/)
• You have installed and have logged in to Microsoft Teams on your computer. See our article How to Install Microsoft Office for more.

Steps to follow

1. While on a call, Click on the Transfer button. Then click on the  Transfer option from the dropdown list
   

2. Type in the name of the person you want to transfer the call to.

   

3. Select the name from the drop-down list. Then click on Transfer.
   

    

4. Microsoft Teams should display Transferringwhen transfer is initiated. The call will end once transferred successfully.
