Background
This knowledge base article will guide you on how to set up a Tag printer on your computer.
Before You Begin
- Ensure that you have installed the Tag Printer.
Steps to Follow
- Just press the Windows button and type in Printers & scanners and select the Printers & scanners option from the Microsoft search menu.
- Select your tag printer from the Printers & scanners and click on the Manage button. This will open up a new window with further settings relating to the selected printer.
- Click on the Printing Preferences option under the Printer Manage Window.

This will open the Printing Preferences popup window.
PLEASE NOTE: Use the following recommended settings- Click on the Page Setup tab and apply the below settings.
- Select Name: 4x6 (101.6mm x 152.4mm ) under the Page Setup Tab.
- Select Orientation: Landscape
- Click on the Apply button.
- Select Name: 4x6 (101.6mm x 152.4mm ) under the Page Setup Tab.
- Click on the Options tab and apply the below settings
- Untick the checkbox next to Use Current Printer Settings under Printer Speed and select the below settings from the dropdown lists.
- Printer: 177.8mm/sec
- Slew: 177.8mm/sec
- Feed: 177.8mm/sec
- Backup: 152.4 mm/sec
- Click on the checkbox next to Print Head Temperature and drag the Slider to the 18th setting.
- Click on the Apply button then click on the OK button.
- Untick the checkbox next to Use Current Printer Settings under Printer Speed and select the below settings from the dropdown lists.
- Click on the Page Setup tab and apply the below settings.
