Allocating Transport Details in Freight Carrier Module

Before you begin

• Ensure you are logged into the Elda (Chrome) Manifests application. If you don't see Manifests in your available Elda (Chrome) shortcuts, you may need to request access to it. Please see our article on how to Request Access to an Elda Application.
• Ensure you are in the Manifest Details tab. See our Article Introduction to the Manifest Interface for more.
  

Steps to follow

1. Open the Freight Carrier module by following our article Introduction to the Freight Carriers Module.
   
   
2. Select a transport company from the preset selection within the drop-down list.
    
3. Once selected, any pre-filled information will populate.
   
   
   
4. Proceed to select the company truck.
   
    
5. Then the driver – If the ‘Selected Truck Details’ has an allocated default driver set, the driver will automatically be selected upon truck selection.
   
6. To allocate a default truck type and delivery driver to a company truck, ensure the truck is selected and proceed to the ‘Selected Truck Details’ section.
   
   
   
7. Allocate a ‘Truck Type’ from the drop-down list.

8. Allocate a 'Truck Model' from the drop-down list.

9. Allocate a driver. Then select Save Changes.

10. Once the driver is allocated to the company truck, the driver will be automatically selected upon truck allocation.
