How to create an Apple ID through your iPhone or iPad

Background 

Your Apple ID is a combination of an email address and a password that you use to access Apple services. Having an Apple ID gives you access to the features and services on your apple device.  

Before You Begin

Creating an Apple ID on your  mobile device

1. Locate the setting app from the device screen and open it .
   
   
   
2. Then tap on the 'Sign in to your iPhone' text at the top right corner.
   
   
   

3. Tap on the ‘Don’t have an Apple ID’ text in blue.
   

    

4. You’ll now be prompted to ‘Create Apple ID’ account that you can tap on and begin the Apple ID account creation process.
   

    

5. Enter your Birthday, followed by your First & Last names and your Email Address.
   

    

6. You can enter your work email address as the Apple ID email ( ****.****@bestbar.com.au  )
   

    

7. Next, please create a new password and confirm it by retyping it below. Please ensure that the password meets the length and strength requirements as indicated below.
   

    

8. Please enter and verify your mobile number. Your phone number is required to create an Apple ID.  This can help to verify your identity and recover your account if needed.

   

9. When you see the Terms and Conditions screen, tap ‘Agree’ at the bottom right.
   

    

10. iOS prompts to select a passcode
    

     

11. Verify email to complete creating profile process. An email will be sent to your email account with a verification code. This can be entered to complete the process.
