Background
This article demonstrates how to set up a default printer on your computer.
Before You Begin
- Ensure that the printer drivers are already installed on the relevant PC.
- Ensure you have selected the Tag Printer.
Steps to follow
- Open Start > Type in Settings
- Click on Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- After the above step click on the Printing Preferences button.
PLEASE SEE: Your Printer can have two settings options. One for A4 Eg : PRE Admin Printer . There is another for Tag printing Eg: PRE Admin Tag Printer. - Change the following settings from the Printer Printing Preferences window
- Print Type needs to be set to 1- Sided.
- The original size and the Paper Size need to be A4 selected
- Paper Tray should be Tray1
- The paper Type should be Thick3
PLEASE SEE: Please check the name of the printer from the Top Left Corner of the Printer Preferences Window.
- Change the Original Size and Paper Size to A4 on the Basic Tab
- Change the Combination on the Layout Tab
- Tick the check box next to Combination
- Select 4 in 1 option from the drop-down menu.
- Print Type must be 1-Sided
